Our Mission

“The next time you see someone who looks different than you, try to be their friend. You might be surprised at how nice they are.”
-Lindsay, Age 6

Lindsay, as a first-grader, giving a presentation to her elementary school about Down syndrome alongside her sister Leah and her mom, 1995.

At its core, our mission is shifting perspectives and inspiring potential. We aim to do this in a variety of ways, from writing about and sharing our stories to Leah’s piano performances and beyond.

We are so grateful for the opportunities that we have had along our journey and equally excited for the opportunities that the future holds!

Our current work includes but is not limited to:

  • Future: Publishing our book Upside Down: Shift Your Perspective [we are currently pitching our Book Proposal to Literary Agents & appreciate all prayers that it falls into the right hands! We are believing for this!]
  • Guest writing articles
  • Sharing our story on podcasts, in publications, and more
  • Piano Performances (currently all-virtual)
  • Speaking Opportunities (currently all-virtual)
  • Virtual Conference Exhibitions

It is our passion to leave the world a little brighter than when we arrived. We encourage you to contact us with any potential opportunities that align with our mission!

In 2017, we received a grant at the World Domination Summit for our work with Upside Down.
