Every Family and Every Kid and Child wants to have a Dog in the family. There is all types of dogs out there and you need to pick one to put in your family. If some people have any kind of allergies you have to pick a dog that is suitable for you and to see what kind of dog that you can have in your family.
Here is Mom with her first born baby named Leah and with our first dog named Patches. She is introducing us to each other.
We have a Dog Named Libby. She is a Shih Tzu a special kind of dog to have in our family. We have to be careful to pick a dog for us because of allergies. We find this dog on a farm where she live at and we bring her home with us. We all of us and me too love our dog Libby.
She is a beautiful and cute and a lot of love and friendly dog that I ever seen. My Dog mostly she is has all white and some black and she has small legs and paws too. She also have a long tongue too and she have a hard time to keep it in her mouth and it look really cute when it is out a little bit. She also look like the dog that we have before. Her name was Madison. Madison used to be my very special friend and I miss her still after she pass away.

Now Libby is My Dog and best friend. Sometimes We like to call her Libby Doo. My Mom calls her Scooby Doo sometimes and also Libby Dibby Doo. And I also like to call her Libby Lou too.
When people start to not feel well and start to get sick and underneath the weather and they want to have a special someone that makes them feel better then they want to have a pet. When I get sick Libby helps me.
I call her my Doctor Doggie.
She lay next to me when I am taking a nap and sleeps with me on the couch with relaxing music and soft piano music. And when I am watching TV for a while she watch the Ellen Degeneres Show with me and that makes me to feel better and make me not think about being sick. She shows me how her love makes me to be better to get my energy and strength back too.
Here is Libby helping me when I was sick.
There is a lot of things that me and her do together. She keeps company with me. We play with her toys upstairs. And I pet her while she cuddles beside me on the couch. When she want to give a little kiss to me I just let her to do it. She loves to spend time with me downstairs while I am doing things like clean my apartment or fold my laundry or write on the blog. One last thing that she loves is to watch regular TV and watch Movies and other things on DVDs on TV too with us and with me too.
She is my truly best friend and best buddy that I could ever have. I always and forever want to be with her. I really love her very very much. She gives me a lot of love and happyness that could bright and sunny my days in my whole life.
She is my family and that is how much I love her very much all in my heart.
So often, Leah has the ability of simplifying the things that we all do in such a unique way that makes complete sense. Our pets are our companions. They sit with us when we are sad…they celebrate with us when we succeed. They become family. They can bring fullness to our life that heals, whether it’s through our grief, illness, anxiety, loneliness… the list continues on… “I call her my Doctor Doggie.”
The important role that having an animal can play in our lives, whether we are diagnosed with a disability or not, is magical. The stories – abundant. Watching Leah grow up, I realize more and more how much joy our dogs have brought to her life. I have also enjoyed having pets around, but something about Leah always drew them close. They always wanted to be by her side. That said, I strongly encourage families who are encountering challenges with their children to consider what an animal may do for their wellness and for the family.

Lastly, I am beyond proud of Leah. She approached me last week when I was in Nebraska visiting with a list of ideas for future blog posts. They were amazing! She is enjoying writing and sharing her stories, and LOVES hearing back from families!

Leah took the initiative with writing this week’s post about Libby and how much joy she brings to her life. As we continue writing for Upside Down, we are both learning and growing along the way. It has been amazing to observe both mine and Leah’s progress since we began in mid-April and I absolutely can’t wait to see what’s ahead.
